Gamma Phi Beta (GPhi)
About Gamma Phi Beta
Founded on November 11, 1874, at Syracuse University in New York, Gamma Phi Beta was the first women’s organization to be called a “sorority”, which we take great pride in.
Through a variety of philanthropic and social activities, Gamma Phi Beta has been dedicated to continuing the vision of our Founders for more than 150 years. Members of the Sorority are wholeheartedly invested in our sisterhood and believe deeply in our philanthropic mission, vision and focus. There is a desire to remain true and constant to the Sorority, the friendships, the opportunities and the values. Gamma Phi Beta will be your home away from home.
We inspire our members to adopt important characteristics such as love, labor, learning and loyalty; which make up our four core values we cherish greatly. Gamma Phi Beta’s mission is to build confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make a difference in the world around us which we do everyday and will continue to do for years to come.
