Being a member of a Panhellenic sorority offers plenty of opportunities for campus involvement and personal/professional growth. To take full advantage of these benefits, we encourage you to actively contribute to your chapter and participate in community ideals and events.
Standards: As a member, you are automatically a public reflection and representative of your sorority. Standards vary by chapter, but you are expected to abide by all national, state, and local laws, as well as university and chapter policies.
Academics: Members in good standing meet their chapter’s minimum term and cumulative GPA. This varies by chapter, but usually is between a 2.0 and 3.0.
Meetings: Every chapter has a mandatory weekly meeting for all active members, as well as one for new members. Policies and meeting times vary by chapter.
Participation: As an active member, you are required to engage with various philanthropy events, as well as participate in community service, recruitment, and other social & sisterhood-type events. Requirements vary by chapter.
