INTRODUCTION
After registering for recruitment (Link Here if you haven’t done so already!), you can officially start looking forward to recruitment on September 9th through the 11th! Read the info below to familiarize yourself with some crucial information before going through the process. Recruitment can be a complex process, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions :)
MRABA
The Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement (MRABA) is a document that will be given to you after the third day of recruitment has ended. By signing this document, you are acknowledging that you are willing to receive a bid from the 1-2 sororities listed on your final ranking sheet. In order to receive a bid, you MUST sign the MRABA.
Up until signing the MRABA, you are free to drop out of the recruitment process at any time, for any reason, with no consequences. After signing, you are still able to drop freely from the process at any time or decline a bid, but doing so means that you will not be eligible to join a sorority until the next primary recruitment period, or the next fall semester.
If you are invited back to two houses on day three of recruitment, please list both of them on your ranking sheet. Listing one chapter when you visited two is called ‘single intentional bidding’, and is equivalent to saying that you are only willing to receive a bid from the option you listed. However, doing so will drop you to the bottom of the priority list, and you will be far less likely to receive a bid.
